Greetings:
I was surprised to see mention of oil in the Golan Heights.
Here, I always thought the only interest in the area was the security of
Israel. (The G/H overlook the land of Israel).
I never thought the Israeli Army fought off Syrian tanks so they could
prospect for oil. Does Syria have any oil production ?
