Jessica Rosenworcel—one of the Democratic commissioners on the FCC—issued a
statement asking FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler to delay a vote scheduled for
Thursday, May 15 on the proposed net neutrality rules. That’s because of your
work:
"While I recognize the urgency to move ahead and develop rules with dispatch, I
think the greater urgency comes in giving the American public opportunity to
speak right now, before we head down this road. […] I think it’s a mistake to
cut off public debate right now as we head into consideration of the chairman’s
proposal," Ms. Rosenworcel said. “I think we should delay our consideration of
his rules by a least a month," she added.
Another Democrat on the FCC, Mignon Clyburn, wrote a blog post Wednesday
signaling her opposition to "pay for priority arrangements."

Your public pressure is working! The campaign has momentum and the FCC is
feeling the heat.

Please, help us take the next step: ask your Democratic member/s of Congress to
reach out to the FCC and express their concern over the vote next week, which
includes serious changes to net neutrality, including “pay-to-play” rules,
while expressing support for a truly open internet.

Keep fighting, Rachel Colyer

Sign the petition: Tell the FCC to vote down this “pay-to-play” rule, and
instead create real net neutrality that protects an open and fair Internet.
