Still clinging to your idiot view of H.R. 5542, the Japanese
allowed gun ownership when there is no woods for hunting(?),
what about all the European countries Hitler over ran before
he attacked the USSR re gun ownership? Do you really
think gun ownership would have stopped the Nazi blitzkreigs
when whole armies couldn't? Where did you get the info that
Russians weren't allowed guns and cameras when I have
seen many family pictures and all the other crap you
mentioned? Socialisim is not totalitarian by definition, by now
you should know its a matter of ownership of the means of
production. The USA could become a socialist nation by
taking over the factories and large (not small) farms, stopping
outsourcing and still have a President, Congress, Supreme
Court, State, City goverments, etc just like it is now. Simple
Simon do you really think the Russians could have done better
by issuing pistols and assult rifles to the people? In fact I don't
believe they were prevented from buying guns if they had the
money? Do you think you can stop a tank with an assult rifle,
idiot? The famous sticky Molotov Cocktails did a lot better.

Total number of murders by all governments 1900-1999 was 172 million.
Total number of murders by Soviet Union 1917-1989 was 62 million.
Not all these genocides were communists, such as Nazi Germany, but all were
totalitarian governments. Socialism by definition is a totalitarian
government.

I checked out all 4 of the top email adds. and didn't bother with
the bottom books.google one. The whole shebang is about the
whole world's "mans in-humanity to man" which continues daily,
it definitly does not single out communisim and in fact mentions
that it didn't have much evidence and asked for such against
communist countries. Why don't you send your pictures,
documents, etc evidence of 62 million murders by the USSR?
Why didn't you mention before that the 62M happened over an 80
year period and why didn't you mention all the other non communist
countries like Japan as committing heinous crimes?
Isn't it up to China, Russia, Viet Nam. etc to decide who their mass
murderers are? Stalin was denounced of some murders but not 62
million. What would you think if China, Russia, Viet Nam, etc did a
research and claimed that our George Washington was a mass
murderer? Note Mao is China's George Washington. Also China
accusses us of interferring in their internal affairs and threatens to do
the same to us if we don't stop. Do you understand my points?
Incidentally in today's Miami Herald there is a little piece, Wash. DC.
VA that SUICIDE RATE RISES AMONG VETERANS at roughly 22
a day, more then two thirds are over 50 so it is not just the current
conflicts. Doesn't speak well for a captalist society and I have no idea
what it is in a communist/socialist country?

During the cold war and even years afterwards the only holocaust
talked about was the one produced by the Germains with pictures
of showers that were gas chambers, ovens to incinerate, stuffed
cattle trains to the concentration camps, surviving witness
testimonies, books, movies, documentations. The ones presumed
produced by communist countries is a relatively recent phenomenon
without pictures of gas chambers, ovens, stuffed trains, the number
of like witness testimonies although there were a few, books, movies
and high profile respected peoples backing the crazy, unbelievable,
impracticable numbers like 62 million which would make our allied
USSR unable to defend its self from a victorius blitzkrieg army giving
us time to prepare for the Normandy invasion. If 62 million were a true
figure there would be an enormous string of witnesses, pictures, hugh
burial grounds, means of execusions, etc. Then there is motives,
Hitler's final solution of ridding the world of jews, gypsies, soviet
prisoners, handycapped children, etc. Why would the USSR want to
kill so many of their own citizens weakening and demoralizing their
own country when they were struggling to industrialize and prepare for
war and there wasn't even a revolt as in Syria? Only brain washed,
illogical, anti socialist sheepies would swallow hook, line and sinker
that Johnny come lately crap.
