DR
My observation is that the President and the common people are mad as hell at
wealthy major corporations like GE for off shoring their investments and mad as
hell to see the shelves stocked with made in China and elsewhere and our
unemployment figures and growing poverty levels are going up and major stock
holders are also going up and so are the Chinese. You haven't said if you are
willing to pay more taxes because it is useless to tax the manufacturers who
only pass the taxes to the consumers so may as well taxes the consumers like
you and me. Getting tired of repeating ourselves, how about you?

It doesn't matter what the country's voters wants. This isn't a police state
yet, people and corporations are both free to exit the country if they wish.

If we lowered or eliminated (better) corporation income taxes, it would stop
this.

Also lowering corporation income taxes would give more dividends to the stock
owners - like ARA Pension fund, myself, probably you, and so forth.

More money for a corporation means that they can expand and make more money.

If they are making lots of money and making lots of jobs by doing it, I don't
see a problem with giving management a raise.

After all, they should get paid well for doing a great job.

My understanding is that stock holders are not on salary they simply get
dividens and the really big ones can get enough cash to buy mega-yachts,
mansions and politicians? Don't believe the country agrees with you on allow
moving headquaters to another country to dodge taxes and sticking the rest of
us to pay for all our expenses?

Stanley,

The yacht owners are also paid salaries.

I know, you don't let little things like correct understanding get in the way
of socialist / communist talking points.

Eliminate the Corporate Income Tax. We are much higher than Canada and
Europe.

If I owned a Corporation or were CEO, I'd move the Corporation to Canada.
I'd continue to pay USA wages and taxes on USA earnings, but not have the
total International earnings taxed by USA tax rates.

My employees would of course, pay USA income taxes as would I.

More money would be in the Corporation's pot to invest.

More investment is good.

If I made the Corporation $20 million dollars for doing this, I would expect
a bonus equal to the cost of a yacht.

Wouldn't you?

owns mega-yachts and mega-mansions, little ole stock holders? Again, we
agree to disagree, sorry friend.

No, Comrade.

In your retirement you should take a course in economics and
corporations.

Bigger profits do NOT mean bigger mega yachts, bigger mega mansions.

Bigger profits mean bigger dividends for the stockholders - who are they?
Union pension plans, and other pension plans, and people - like you and
me.

Bigger profits also means more money to invest in capital investments,
like new USA ships - maybe with ARA on them. It means a new factory
maybe near you where you can consult and earn money - where's the money
going to come from? Those bigger profits.

Stan, you just don't understand.

Taxing corporations hurts everyone.

If Communists and Socialists didn't misinform the uninformed especially
the innocent youth, things would be better, but it also might lead
themselves to have to face the facts that their thinking was defective
because the "facts" on which their evaluation of capitalism was just
plain WRONG.

Capitalists and Socialists are only interested in power and control.
Some lower members are the innocent, ignorant of the truth. The really
violent Communists when they get in power execute those innocent when
they finally grab power away from the people.

Think, think, think. No taxes means BIGGER PROFITS to buy bigger mega
Yachts, bigger mega Mansions etc.. Killing unions, lower wages, longer
working hours, fewer holidays, shorter vacations, less safety rules
etc, which is the same as less taxes to maintain or increase profits
which we must not hurt, will also bring jobs and the factories back.
Slave labor is the best. Think, think, think,

Corporations pass taxation costs to consumers. Eliminate corporation
income taxes, you will increase gross national product because goods
will cost.

Only a socialist would be stupid enough to tax corporations.
