You can do more with it than blocking, you can make a special folder  for
all sparkscoffee emails, you can put messages from aol into a special AOL
folder.

But as I told you you can also delete messages even before they get to the
IN Box as RR says he  is doing to you.

I'd  like to do that to all messages that are disgusting in content which
generally go to the SPAM folder (which is a network folder with special
rules - but it's done for all AOL people).

Go read what I said again.   I don't use blocking at all.

This list only accepts mail from members, so if I accidentally send a
message from my n1ea@xxxxxxx <n1ea@xxxxxxx> account, that mail won't be
sent out from the list because that email address isn't subscribed.  If
isn't blocking at all.  In technical terms this email list "white lists"
the subscribers all others don't get through.

If you use a different email client, search for "how to set up email
filters outlook" or whatever email client you use.

Some web mail sites like http://gmail.com and http://aol.com - here is
AOL's filters - go to "options" over on the right hand side  and select
"Mail Options".

You will see this -

Here is a filter  to take mail  from n1ea@xxxxxxxx (me) and put it
directly into the Trash.

Any time you would  receive mail  from me, it would then go directly into
the TRASH without going into the INBOX.

What RR has done is make a rule in his email client like this :

If email from STAN arrives, DELETE it before it goes to the In Box.

As far as this list is concerned,  all emails are sent to all subscribers
immediately upon their receipt.

Only non-subscribers are blocked.

If you're a subscriber all received email goes immediately  to all
subscribers.

Your email program probably has filters you can use.

Mine does.  I use Thunderbird, also I use mutt.

the sparkscoffee traffic list
so an automatic block would have to be on an individual on that list to
work. Is that possible and easy
to do?

Stan who is the only one who is supposed to be blocked and is suspicious
that he ain't.
