genetic-related medical science.

This straighforwardly designed text-based site is divided into two primary
categories -- an alphabetized Genetic Disorders section encompassing "related
genes and chromosomes" and Concepts and Tools "for understanding human
genetics." Listing more than 900 conditions, diseases, and syndromes, the
database can be browsed and searched, while information is included on hundreds
of genes, chromosomes, and mitochondrial DNA detailing the health effects of
genetic differences. A helpful handbook, a glossary of medical and genetic
terms, and links to additional resources are also available.
