The issue actually is with the site which is constantly alerting the
user the number of books currently available. So if Eric just presses
the space bar on the close button which is on the site, then the alert
message disappears.

I haven't had a chance to explore it in detail yet, however you might know,
is the material/books both in or out of copyright?
Just in case the books/material you need is not on this site, there is
another resource, Bookshare.org, this one is especially good for material
that is still under copyright, and should you wish to join, please let me
know.
