By the way,

I think for best accessibility, that using old school inserting of synth with dedicated midi and audio tracks is best.

You get separate volume controls which is good for gain staging, and your midi and audio data will be separate.

I've always done better doing it this way.

Hi Everyone

As I followed the Sonar Blind 1.30 demo on my computer When I inserted a soft synth, like tru pianos I didn’t hear the plug in after I inserted the synth. I heard John inserting the synth with alt I, then vst, then the synth. After this came the synth parameters. I heard the enter key and then jaws said preset, no preset. When I followed these steps the last announcement was not heard and when I pressed ctrl F4 to close the plug in window I got prompted to save changes and close Sonar instead.

Whaat parameters are to be checked before inserting the soft synth? Is it the Synth property page, the Synth rack view or something else. The Simple instrument track is checked by default. I tried the Synth property page but didn’t hear Jaws saying what I heard in the demo.

Juan
