The second game of a double header again starts with lots of offense for
both teams. MIN scored 9 points in the first two minutes including a FB
dazzler for Walker. Lake K led 35-31 after the first quarter. Late in the
second quarter, Lake K went on a 9-0 run to double the lead from 9 to 18 at
64-46. At the half, Lake K led 68-52.
In the third quarter, a 10-0 Lake K run pushed the lead to over 30 at
100-69. Lake K still led by 31 at the end of the third quarter, 111-80.
MIN only got as close as 21 in the 4th quarter, and Lake K pushed it back
out to over 30 in the end to win 134-102. Lakle K scored 68 in the first
half and 66 in the second half including 43 in the third quarter.
Sexton had a nice game with 33 points, and while Hield and Walker combined
for 32 points, they also combined for 11 for 39 FG's. MIN went 14 for 55
from three point land (only 25%) and allowed Lake K to dominate the glass
61 to 33. Gobert had a monster game with 33 points and 23 rebounds.
Harrell was called for four fouls in the first half but avoided fouling out
to score 21 points in only 19 minutes. Lake K had six players scoring in
double figures to only four for MIN.
