Lake K went on an early 9-0 run for a 12-3 lead and got it to a double
digit lead at 27-17. After one quarter, Lake K led 27-22. Gobert reached
a double-double before midway through the second quarter. Lake K went on a
10-0 run to take a 41-25 halfway through the quarter. At the half, Lake K
was up 52-42.
Lake K had another stellar third quarter and got the lead to as high as 27
four different times in the third to take a 95-72 lead into the fourth.
BAY made it a game near the end and got the lead down to just 9 at 122-113
but there was only three seconds left at that point. Lake K wins 123-113.
Ayton played large with a game high 30 points and grabbed 15 rebounds.
Brooks added 19 and Caldwell-Pope chipped in 17 off the bench. Aldridge
was a non-factor with only 11 points and 1 rebound. Lake K had four
players who scored more than 20 points. Harrell led the way with a
double-double off the bench pairing 23 points with 10 rebounds. Gobert
finished with 22 points and a game high 16 rebounds. Griffin and Ingles
each scored 21.
