Please everyone use tussah if possible which is wildcrafted and cruelty free
(they don't kill the silk moths to get the silk)

Good to know about the trade me silk. It goes a long way. I have also used
raw silk material that has worked fine for me also...........non coloured.
About a 1/4 of a hanky size cut up and added to the lye immediately.
