Thanks for that Ross. I have just recently made a quite expensive frankinsense
and myrrh (all essential oils) - just because I love the scents. They make me
want to sniff an sniff. And, I wasn't disappointed when I used the bar. It
lingers ALL day - literally and I love it. I added a little patchouli as well.
So no wonder it is a lingerer. I'm not selling it. The whole batch is all
for me!!!

The resins generally linger on the skin IMO. Patchouli, sandalwood,
frankincense, myrrh, amber, benzoin, teak, rosewood, pine, etc

Thank you Mary for your comments.

I actually agree with the colour - and it is not the usual colour of my
Lavender Wisp. The infusion was a little more concentrated than usual. And is
usually a lilac/lavender colour, however, the colour is growing on me.

Interesting to see what you all say about the scent too. I think after 9
years or so of working with essential oils, my sense of smell has been diluted.
I thought you would all complain because the scent is muted and doesn't last.
How wrong have I been!

  Liz

    Hi there everyone,

    Lizzee bee's - Lavender wisp

    Packaging/first impressions

wow - very professional, your name Lizzie Bee goes so well together, catchy
and easy to remember, makes me think business, but label does state handmade,
but for does get away from the homemade appeal - which is the stage that I am
at, so am probably just jealous. The colour, darkkkkkkk ? not as enticing for
me because of this.

    Pre Shower

smell - not sure, Patchouli is my fav smell and I do like lavender but
can't quite get either of these in particular. I suspect I will like the smell
more when in use. I felt the colour didn't really match the the name and as Im
a visual person if colour, name and smell don't match - I get confused however
I loved the shape and edges, perfect for me. The bar seemed very hard and
shiny, interesting. I have been following the posts so understand you use
another ingredient, that I don't know about - thats so cool.

    Shower

Hmmm, a little slimy with big bubbles and little bubbles and a bit of cream
- excellent, can smell the patcholi now and am liking it. Great bar in shower,
bet this one will last for awhile.

FAve thing about this bar - I could smell patchouli on my skin for many
hours afterwards, lovely bonus and in ingredients list use of rainwater and
honey, lovely touch.

    Thank You Liz
