Yes Louise - when you finally make a good lotion - it is a fantastic feeling. Even better than making a good soap!

Thanks Liz

You always have so much info to share - much appreciated.

I've been using my lotion and loving it (especially since swimming is so
drying on skin) only thing is because I used so much eos I don't put it on
my face but body is OK. I'll be making another batch this weekend just for
my face.

It's amazing - I feel so proud and feel like I have accomplished so much by making lotion (something I've wanted to do since I was about 14). I've been
telling everyone I know.

Happy, happy happy!

Cheers
Louise

Hi Louise,

I use 1% for face and 2% for body 3% for feet.

Hi

Was going to ask if you can add water to thin down a lotion but after
trying
my first ever batch of lotion it's fine - I think that the weather has
something to do with it as it's been very cold. Had serious problems with
icing a cake today because of coldness as well.

Gina your new emulsifier was absolutely fabulous - I used the formula in
the
"Soap naturally" book for the lotion as it weighed everything and I
couldn't
understand MY notes re your lotion.

I'll be ordering more of the emulsifier from you it really does work
well -
congrats little smarty pants!

What proportion of eos does everyone use for lotions/moisturiser? I think
I
might have added too much eos.

Thanks
Louise
