Yes this can happen if the card is formatted XFAT and not FAT32. The
SmartVision2 will not read an XFAT formatted card. You can go
into the file manager and down to the SD card to see if the phone can read it.
If it can't; You will be given the option to format
the card at that point.
The SmartVision2 takes an Micro SD card.
