Thank you again for your detailed message.

 

I haven't attempted to change the tone for e-mails since I use Gmail  for
e-mails.  However, I've managed to change the tone  for text messages, but
haven't  received a text message as yet, so am not certain the change has
been applied successfully, although I assume it has.
