Hi Paul,
I believe that due to a change in Android this is now the expected behavior.
Mine too updates apps only when plugged into power to conserve battery life.
Thanks

Subject: [smartvisionau] Updates
Hi Sam and All
I've noticed recently that my phone will tell me that some updates are
available, but it won't do them unless I'm connected to the mains. I knew
that you need the wifi on, but I didn't know that the phone wouldn't update
on battery. It's not a problem, but is this meant to be so?
Paul
