I don't really use reddit personally. The only time I do so is when it
shows up in a search and looks like it may contain something useful.
That being said, there was a topic on audiogames.net off topic forum a
while ago. There is someone creating a gtk reddit client.

I know he was looking for feedback on the client. Also, because he uses
a screen reader himself, there shouldn't be any a11y problems in the
software.
As for Mastodon, personally I prefer Pleroma, but they are compatible
for the most part at least as far as the API goes. There are a couple of
command line options that work well for them. Toot is one, and Tut is
the other. If you are looking for a good web interface, I highly
recommend pinafore. Here is the link:

If you don't want to host your own instance of Mastodon or Pleroma,
which ever you choose, there are a couple of decent options. The first
is very moderated, and is not the place to go if you are both expecting
free speech and post things that some people may find destressing. It is

the next one is actually recommended by a DragonsCave admin if you are
looking for a more free speech friendly server. It is:

Finally, there is a brand new instance, so I don't really know anything

If you do join one of the compatible servers, let me know your username
and I'll follow you. I do hate political stuff and activism for the most
part, and tend to unfollow that type of stuff pretty quickly.
I'm actually indifferent to wether Twitter goes away or not, it hasn't
really been worth any attention since like 2012 or so, whenever it was
that TTYtter was discontinued.
