disks are very big on new computers. Disks could be lots smaller on
referbished computers and the cpu on those machines is not certain to be
i686 or equivalent either.
People don't necessarily buy referbished computers but that's what they
may get as a result of charity donations or sometimes work computers in
corporate and government workplaces.

yes, the graphic part takes some place but nowadays, it's not so
important. Disks are very big.
