Try ./audio-manager.sh instead.

Subject: [slint] Re: Questions regarding Audiogame manager and linux game
manager
Hi,
thank you very much for the help. The installation seems to be successfully. I
see the audio-game manager in my git-folder, but have difficulties to start it.
I tryed to start form the console and from the gui, but nothing realy happened.
What can I do? If i try to go into the folder with commands and then type
audiogame-manager.sh, the shell says that the command can not be found.
thank you for all tipps.
best
Niklas
ps: I tryed the command with ./ in the beginning from the readme, but something
even does not seem to work.

Hi,===============================================================================
The list of packages and expressions arguments of SOURCE= line 27
should be all on the same line. But in the file you sent it is split
in two lines, the first one ending in a caret character ^
It seems that causes the issue, although why this makes slapt-get
include FAudio among the excludes be a mystery to me.
@George (in BCC): can you explain that? For your information in the
repository https://slackware.uk/people/alien/sbrepos/15.0/x86_64/ ;
FAudio is indeed listed as a dependency of wine) and the guide
followed by Niklas is
https://git.stormux.org/storm/audiogame-manager/wiki/Slint
Also among then arguments I find some patterns beginning with a letter
accbnetd with a circumflex accent, like for instance ĝcc-brig. In this
case the pattern should be instead ^gcc-brig (caret or ^ as a letter
on its own, followed by g) To avoid that, to type a caret, press ^
then press Enter before typing another character. Also there is
~^aaa_glipc-solibs instead of ^aaa_glibc-solibs.
To save you some typing I attach a fixed configuration file.
I have kept the lines 27 and 28 from you file but commented out, so
only the line 30 will be parsed by slapt-get.
Please tell us if that helps.
Cheers,
Didier
PS I did not go any further in testing, as I am not a gamer ;)

Maybe FAudio is listed in /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc in the line

then why?

Hi,
please attach the file /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc to your next
message. This will allow is to check what packages are excluded and
if need be fix the list of excluded packages. Meanwhile am trying
to follow the instructions see if I come across the same issue.

Hi,
maybe someone could help. I am stuck again in the guide. I wanted
to install wine, but it reads the package lists and then it says
that F-audio, wich is neccessary for wine is excluded. What can i
do now? Have i done something wrong?

Hi,
While in a Mate terminal press Ctrl+Alt+F2 to switch to tty2
(console #2), log in again and use nano. To go back to Mate pres
Alt+F7. If you press
Ctrl+Alt+F2
again you will be already logged in there
You can type slint-doc from the console as from mate terminal
From the console the handbook will be displayed in w3m, from
mate-terminal in firefox.
Cheers,
Didier
PS You can use another console, like Ctrl+Alt+F3 for tty3.

Hi, at the moment, i am using the mate terminal. The problem
isn't that it is slow, the problem is that I don't know how to
read the file to find the line i have to edit. If I use the
cursor keys, nothing happens. With the normal console, I haven't
worked, have to find out how to use the console and mate at the
same time in order to read the guide on one hand and to do the
jobs on the other. That's why i thought a mate terminal would be
easier to start.

Heya there: When you say that you're editing a file in
Nano, and it's
slow, are you using the console, or are you using a gui
terminal like
Mate Terminal. You'll find that you have better luck
using the console
when it comes to text related stuff.
Let us know if you need more clarafication.
