Hi,
I suspect that there is a way to modify grub.cfg in such way that grub is
going to wait for the user's sellection of the operating systems to be
fired up. I never bothered with the dual boot installation since I believe
it is more confusing to the blind user than it is really worth. If
anything, I put Slint into virtual server & I found VMPlayer the easiest
to handle under Windows for the screen reader user.
Have a nice one!

Pawel,
The best I could do is search for "increase boot delay GRUB Slackware" and follow what I
find. If you don't find much remove "Slackware" and see what you find.
I wish someone would make BIOS and GRUB accessible.
See what you can find.
The boot loader is GRUB.
Best wishes,
David

Hi,
David, if you know, tell me please which boot loader work here -Slint's or
Windows one?
If this is as I suspect the grub boot loader, isn't there a tool to set it
up that grub will wait for a user to make selection of the operating
system using the up/down arrows as long as it takes instead of going
automatically to the first one selected?
I believe I saw some discussion about it long time ago on the Vinux
mailing list.
I don't recall this tool/method right now.
Perhaps, you have some instructions in this matter in your repository of
things. <smile>
Take care,
Pawel
