Some extra news about Mac Mini G4 and Slackintosh 12:
- firewire disk (250Gb LaCie) was OK (seen as "/dev/sda", ran "mac-
fdisk" to show partitions, mounting HFS/HFS+ partitions, etc):
plugging ieee1394 cable was sufficient; also, KDE was able to show
some partition links on the desktop;
- firewire networking also OK (must "modprobe eth1394" manually to
enable "eth2", then "ifconfig eth2 ..." and everything works, faster
than common ethernet; plugging ieee1394 cable didn't modprobe it).
