o DVD Author rolou. Tive um problema que não tem a ver com o simplepkg, mas aí vai:

Com o VLC o problema continua:

Acho que corrigi (é preciso testar) ao diminuir o número simultâneo de
processos de compilação (estava em -j7).

Para testar essas mudanças, basta dar um "createpkg --sync" e tentar
construir novamente os pacotes.
