Hi Sisters,
Thanks to a generous grant by the Queensland Premier, and in partnership with
Queensland Writers Centre and local councils, my colleagues and I are offering
FREE writing workshops in July in Logan and Scenic Rim. That’s right – 2 x 3
hour writing workshops for FREE! See attached flyers for details.
Want to try out something new? Learn to write your life story in fiction or
non-fiction (we all know truth can be stranger than fiction), turn you hand at
poetry (if you want to produce something more quickly than the year or two it
takes to write a novel), write a catchy song (even if you can’t sing in tune
like me) or make a digital story you can post online (handy-to-have skills for
producing book trailers).
There’s no catch – it’s totally free, and you also get an opportunity to
perform or show your work –or at least eat cake with new friends- at the
Showcase events J
We’re happy to look at accepting participants from the surrounding regions,
Gold Coast or Moreton Bay, or just ask us to put you on the list and if there
is space we’ll fit you in.
