Ed O'Brien notes: What a session ! Alan Livingston told me "Young At Heart" was the turning point for Frank at Capitol. He had had some success
that year with Riddle but the huge hit that "Heart" gave him really got the musical career back on track.
Fifty takes were done that evening on three songs. The last take is the released recording of "I Could Have Told You."
Not bad for number fifty. I asked Riddle about this marathon session and he told me "Frank had voice to burn back then." Did he ever.

In November of 1953 Jimmy Van Heusen played "Young At Heart"
for Sinatra and urged him to record it. It put Carolyn Leigh on the
map. Frank would go on to record "Witchcraft," "How Little We Know," "Stay
With Me," "Pass Me By,""Best Is Yet To Come all composed by Ms. Leigh.

Ed O'Brien notes: The Shore appearance was a marvelous turn by Sinatra.
What emerged on the show was a much more relaxed, confident
performer. The Timex shows in 59-60 reveal a rather tense, unsure
Sinatra, who often looked exceedingly uncomfortable. His opening
medley with Dinah in December of 62 showed Frank at ease with himself
and very comfortable in front of the camera. He did outstanding
singing on "Please Be Kind" and "Moonlight In Vermont." Dinah joined
him for a closing medley that included "That Face," "You're Sensational" and
"I See Your Face Before Me"( uptempo). This show was a precursor
to the marvelous "Man And His Musics" in the mid-sixties.
