OK, I moved the CGX monitors (BVisionPPC and CGXAGA) from Devs:monitors (I assume this is enough to disable CGX) and booted into AGA mode. I set screenmode to 640 x 512 (PAL HighRes laced) and 8 colours. I found the problem still persists. I made sure by measuring the time taken to scroll through a long message in the read window and in the compose window. These are the results: Scroll from top to bottom of a 623 line message: Compose window: 40 seconds Read window: 1 min 40 seconds. > Another interesting approach of verifying this theory would be to install > a previous version of simplehtml.library about the current one (but be > sure that it was flushed before and that no other simplehtml.library > resides in the LIBS: path). But I don't know if SimpleMail accepts the > old one. OK, I tried both the lib from SM Ver0.26 (SimpleHTML.libtrary ver 0.18) as well as the one from SM 0.25 (ver 1.-1) and found that the problem dissappears with ver 1.-1 (the one from SM Ver 0.25). > It's completly unrelated. It seems to be related to the double buffer > feature of simplehtml.library which has been recently introduced. It would appear that way.
