Hello Bernd, Sebastian, More than a little dissappointed that the slow scrolling on CGX (the old double buffering introduced in I think 0.26) still hasn't been fixed. Yes I appreciate all your efforts in supporting SimpleMail, but this issue affects the usability of SM on a daily basis. SM is the only mailer I use at home even though I have an Athlon XP3200 based PC with 1Gb RAM and a nice 9800Pro AIW card sitting next to my Amiga with WinXP Pro and Office 2003 pro installed on it. It would be nice if this little niggly problem were fixed. Back in June last year, Sebastian you said in reply to my comment: KB>> Do we really need double buffering on scrolling? It's not a 50fps KB>> action shoot-em up after all is it SB>It looks much nicer and in fact normally it shouldn't cause such a large SB>slow down which you encounter. Now that we know the reason it should be SB>possible to find a cure. But I can't tell when I have the time for it (I SB>hope during next week). A long week. Kind regards, Kulwant PS I used to use the old Simplehtml.library from 0.25 to get round the slow scrolling, but at the expense of losing clickable links. -----Original Message----- From: Bernd Gollesch [mailto:bgollesch@xxxxxxx] Sent: 06/02/2006 12:00:09 To: Subject: [SimpleMail-usr] Version 0.29 of SimpleMail has been released > Hello, > just in case you missed the news: > Version 0.29 of Simplemail for AmigaOS3, AmigaOS4 and MorphOS > has been released. > Check out the homepage at > http://simplemail.sf.net > for more information about this release. > -- > cu, Bernd > __________________________________________________________________________ > SimpleMail mailing list - > //www.freelists.org/list/simplemail-usr Listserver help.: > mailto:simplemail-usr-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=HELP Unsub....: > mailto:simplemail-usr-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=UNSUBSCRIBE > __________________________________________________________________________ SimpleMail mailing list - //www.freelists.org/list/simplemail-usr Listserver help.: mailto:simplemail-usr-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=HELP Unsub....: mailto:simplemail-usr-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=UNSUBSCRIBE
