OK,

Here you go:

1 - Until you've followed the steps below, you access the normal F-key
functionality by holding down the Fn key at the bottom-left of your keyboard;

2 - Bring up the system tray;

3 - Navigate to the entry for Boot Camp and press Enter;

4 -  Press Shift+Tab and you should hear "Start-Up disk tab";

5 - Arrow Right until you get to the Keyboard tab;

6 - Press Tab and you'll land on a check box that makes your F-keys behave
normally, so check it;

7 - Tab to the OK button and press Enter.

I can't remember if you need to reboot to make these settings active - give it
a try.

BTW, if you still want to access the volume and other functionality that the
F-keys provided before this change, just press them in conjunction with the Fn
key.

Best wishes.
Tim Burgess

Hi Tim,
Great! That worked! Thanks a lot!
I’m still facing other issues, though. I noticed that the function keys (f1,
f2, etc) aren’t currently working as such but are set to do things as
brightness of the screen, play music, volume etc.
I’ve looked everywhere in keyboard settings to get them to work as regular
function keys, but I can’t seem to find where to make this change.
As I said, I’m running a laptop (macbook pro with bootcamp).
I’d be really grateful for any help.
