Hi Dan, Just wanted to say thanks for the help and support over the last few months with helping me get my Sibelius Access scripts working. I am up and running with it now, but I admit I had to get someone to help me with getting the screen rotation issue sorted 'cos I couldn't find the Graphics Option, nonetheless your directions got us there all right. I can now enjoy learning and appreciating the fantastic work you have done on creating the scripts. Thank you so much for all this. The option you're looking for is one which allows you to rotate the screen with hotkeys (keyboard shortcuts). You can usually reach the vital options through the desktop context menu. First Press Windows + M to go to the desktop. Mext press Ctrl + Space to deselect the current item. Now that nothing is selected you can press the Applications key or Shift + F10 to open the context menu. You will hopefully find a submenu relating to graphics. In this menu you should find an option to disable hotkeys. If this this option is not checked, select it and press Enter. A typical menu path will be graphics > hotkeys > disable. If you cannot find this option you will need to open the graphic options dialog which is also in the desktop context menu. This dialog will contain options which also let you disable the screen rotation options. Hope this helps, Dan -----Original Message----- From: sib-access-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:sib-access-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Maree Steinway Sent: 08 September 2013 08:28 To: sib-access@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [sib-access] Re: keyboard layout Hi Dan, Hope it's ok to jump in here 'cos I'm having the same problem. I tried looking for the Graphics Option when I went into the Context Menu in applications but I couldn't see it. How do I find this? I'm using Win 7 pro and JAWS 14. I have a Dell Laptop but I am using an external qwerty set to DeskTop when I use Sibelius Access. Sorry, I think I just can't get used to Win 7. Go to the desktop and press space to make sure that nothing is selected. Then press the applications key and use the context menu to find the graphics options. In one of those dialogs you may find an option relating to screen rotation. Make sure it is disabled Dan. -----Original Message----- From: sib-access-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:sib-access-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Joel Daze Sent: 07 September 2013 19:19 To: sib-access@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [sib-access] Re: keyboard layout Hi David... My JAWS install is set to desktop keyboard layout. Not sure why this is not working. You need to have JAWS set to desktop in order to use it with Sibelius. Insert+J Options Basics Tab to the keyboard and select desktop Press Ok See if that works. By the way, your Caps Lock will then no longer be the JAWS key, so you need to use the Insert key after that. David G. I'm trying to move the cursor to the B piano staff by using CTRL + ALT + DOWN ARROW. It doesn't seem to work. I've checked the keyboard in the Sib Access options and it says desktop. I'm using a Lenovo laptop and have a blue tooth NUM PAD. I've tried to change the keyboard configuration to laptop and it does not work. Any help would be appreciated.
