A few months ago I was able to download Sib6 since I had purchased it years back, when it first came out, but had misplaced the original software DVD. So, it is available on their Website as a rather large 2.3GB file, Sibelius62Full.exe That said, you still need to either buy it or have a serial number for it. So yep, contact Avid and see if you can either upgrade to 6 or buy 7 and then downgrae back to 6.
