Dan, Interesting. How about if both hand parts were first put on a single staff and slurred, then split the staff into the grand staff. Would that perhaps preserve the integrity of the cross-hand slur? I'm afraid this is a non-starter for us. Sighted users can grab one end of the slur and pull it into position with the mouse. You see the problem. Regardless, in a piano part where the slur goes from hand to hand, how is that visually indicated, and more importantly, how does one write them in Sibelius? I understand slurring within a staff; it's the from one staff to another, or between staves, I have yet to learn. -----Original Message----- From: sib-access-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:sib-access-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dan Rugman Sent: Monday, January 11, 2010 4:16 PM To: sib-access@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [[SPAM]] - [sib-access] Re: Hand Slurs - Email found in subject Dale, I've never heard this term before. It might only be used in U.S. Braille music? However, I neither know how to create what in Braille is called a hand slur, nor what that print representation would be. Does anyone have advice on how to input such an indication?
