The documentation is wrong. It should read as follows:

*** start ***

Dotted notes

You can add single, double and triple rhythm dots to any note. You do this
through the keypad as well, and as with the other duration keys, they apply
to every note which you enter from that point on.

Press KeypadDecimal (KeypadDelete) in the F8 layout to add a single dot.
Press Keypad2 in the F9 layout to add a double dot.
Press Keypad3 in the F9 layout to add a triple rhythm dot.

*** end ***

In case there's any confusion, the single rhythm dot is in the F8 layout and
the double and triple dots are in the F9 layout.

Subject: [sib-access] Documentation Regarding Single-Dotted Note Vs. Sharp

Reading through the editing documentation, I appears the single dot command
and the sharp are listed to have the same key stroke--keypad8 in the f8
template. The double and triple dots come from the f9 template.
What am I missing?
