Follow on to my recent posting on generation PWL PRBS excitation for spice simulations. I mentioned that one could take the recently posted Perl code and modify it to output a PWL statement. Check the Microsim app note document at: http://www.pspice.com/upload/appnotes/appnts.pdf On page 231 of the pdf file a chapter entitled "Test Analog circuits with Random Digital Data" begins. On page 233, figure 124 is a simple program listing in BASIC that allows one to generate a PWL statement based on random data generated by the BASIC rand() statement. The logic in that listing could be ported into the PERL prbs code to create an integrated program. -Ray ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
