Does anyone have any program/code which can be used to see the eye diagram after sending 10gig data over different material, most notabely FR4 and Rogers. Failing that, is there a rule of thumb/formula which tells you how long a trace you can handle, given the loss tangent and skin effects. I know this is not a fair question since it depends a lot on rise time and receiver sensitivities thats why an eye diagram is better but still some rule of thumbs for 10gig speeds will be very welcome thanks a lot ------------------------------------------------ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web! ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
