Linpar has a utility that allows you to use parallel, insulated wires in a 2D
field solver by assigning one of the wires to be the ground. It is intended
for insulated wires in a flat cable configuration, but you could use the
insulator dielectric Er=1 (for vacuum/air) and then increase the capacitance
matrix
values by the Er of any surrounding dielectric material.
