Whether this will be difficult or not really depends on additional 
constraints:  What edge rates?  Parallel single-ended or serial 
differential signals, and how many, and how many can switch 
simultaneously with what edge rate, and what kind of power bypass is in 
the package and on the die, what kind of PCB the chip is intended to 
mate up to etc.
