Is the amplifier powered all the time, or do you turn on its power in order to play the message? What do you mean by "when I switch on the sound"? Do you have some sort of analog gate between the sound source and the amp? Or is it something like a .wav file that gets activated? Probe at the input to your audio amp and check if the clicks are there too. If there's an analog switch in the audio path, there are a few ways it can introduce a transient directly into the audio. Why do you suspect an amplifier phenomenon, and the power supplies? Are other clicks and noises also being introduced into the amp from other sources in your system? If yes, then how to resolve it ?. ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List FAQ wiki page is located at: http://si-list.org/wiki/wiki.pl?Si-List_FAQ List technical documents are available at: http://www.si-list.org List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
