The use guide and tutorials that are there when you install the software will get you started. The tutorials are not obvious to find but you will see some in the allprograms/cadence/vxx.x menu from your start button. One of the most difficult things for a newbie to Cadence SI is understanding the libraries and that you have to translate ibis to dml which is discussed in the manuals. You can do basic SI using SigXP but at board level you have to understand a lot more of how Cadence works. You can also contact your local Cadence FAE for some advice. ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List forum is accessible at: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
