Think about what causes ringing/overshoot. When the signal is sent, the
transmitter does not know what impedance the signal will see some
nanoseconds later at the other end of the line. Terminating the transmission
line eliminates reflections at the termination point.  Reflections can still
occur elsewhere, of course.

I strongly recommend reading Dr. Johnson's excellent books.  Since you are
in education, you might also wish to read a book on transmission line
theory.

If have implemented 50ohm trace impedance in board, then no need to add
50ohm match resistor?
Or I add match resistor in circuit, then no need to implement approciate
trace impedance?
