You will be working with Flash silicon design and package physical design teams to develop package electrical design rules for optimal cost and performance. The package technologies of interest will include lead frame based packages, BGA's, and multi-chip as well as multi-component SiP packages. Duties of the job will include but not be limited to package electrical modeling, simulation, and empirical verification. Collaboration and co-design with Flash memory device design, package design, and customers/applications engineering will be necessary so good communication and teaming skills are required. Responsibilities will also include the development of electrical design rules to guide package physical design as new product introduction and advanced package technologies require improved electrical performance. A working knowledge of various commercially available simulation tools is necessary Job Requirements: Excellent communications skills and ability to collaborate on large interdisciplinary teams is necessary.
