Hi JF, In this layerstackup layer-1 and layer-2 will be create the return current problem because layer-1 tracks crossing the split Plane under layer1.The same problem you are facing with layer-8 and layer-7.I think you can change the layerstackup and you can easily avoid the return current problem. Would it be going through decoupling capacitors of VCC2 to decoupling capacitors of VCC1 to then get to the layer 6 reference plane ?
