Hi Jack, 

Other than the return loss you saw at 5Ghz, did you monitor the return loss in 
between the BW?  Did you see the large resonance? I wonder the stub effect may 
cause the large return loss as well since your routing layer is very close to 
the top. How many layers do you have? Did you back drill the stub?
