[SI-LIST] IBIS-AMI Simulation produces split eye diagram

Hi All,
I am using Cadence PCB-SI simulator for running IBIS-AMI Channel
simulation on a Serial interface. The eye diagram generated by the tool
is split, with initial 1/3 part of the eye diagram appearing after the
remaining 2/3 part. This does not happen if the channel length is small
(1 - 2 inches).

I would like to know if anyone else has observed similar phenomenon. I
have taken up this issue with Cadence as well as the IBIS-AMI model
vendor. Cadence response is that this is due to the model issue, whereas
the model vendor says that the model works fine with other simulators.

Thanks for the help.
