you can download a DOS executable called lfsr.exe=20
( lfsr =3D linear feedback shift register)

It purportedly allows you to set taps (i.e. define the polynomial)
and generate PRBS sequences.=20

I haven't tried it, so can't vouch for it. Personally I use
matlab to generate prbs sequences for simulation purposes.
