Subject: [SI-LIST] DFE

 Dear SI-Group members,
I would like to exchange some ideas with other people managing=20
problems like mine.
I recently wrote a script in Matlab, that helps me to program the=20
equalyzer and the DFE block in a Virtex 4 Rocketio receiver.
I would like to choose the right gains (Ci) in order to optimize the=20
eye amplitude and minimize the jitter.
I can start from a simulation or from a measure of the signal in front=20
of the receiver.
I red the Xilinx UG076 note and I tried to obtain with=20
Matlab something similar to what is described in pages 109-112. But I =20
still have some doubt (phases of equalyzers, how really the DFE
works....)
So I would like to share my code and find someone who could help me=20
with some suggestions.
I hope that SI-List is the right place.
Thankyou
     Giovanni
You should be able to downolad the scripts from www.si-list.org soon
(Thankyou Ray)
