Hi, I am looking at pierce crystal oscillator from CMOS inverter. I am trying to understand the 360 degree phase shift during parallel resonance.I know that 180 degree phase shift will be provided by inverter. So, another 180 degree must come from crystal and load capacitor circuit. I understand that the whole crystal will be modelled as inductance in parallel resonance. So, we have one inductor and two load capcitors at each arm. This can be modelled as tank circuit and at resonance it should give 0 degree. I know, I am missing something in my analysis. Please, tell me what I am missing and how this circuit will give 180 degree phase shift?? Thanks in Advance/- Pankaj ___________________________________________________ Click below to experience Sooraj R Barjatya's latest offering 'Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon' starring Hrithik, Abhishek & Kareena http://www.mpkdh.com ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
