First of all I m not the only one in this SI LIST who found Lee Rithcey =
book expensive. I can forward all the reply I got from SI list who agreed =
with me. However, it is rude and inappropriate to consider claiming a =
book, which costs $125 is too expensive, is ridiculous. What is ridiculous =
and irony is still we have people like you who cannot comprehend the value =
of $125. Let me elaborate for you Mr RICH BOY what is really the value of =
$125. If you live in California, for every $100 you make you need to pay =
tax almost $40. Therefore, $125 is equivalent to $175. Second, there are =
engineers with PHD degree and have experience more than 40 years and sell =
their book for only $75. Also we are living in an age where people don't =
have food to eat. Therefore, we have to be carefull how to spend our =
money. However, if you are RICH BOY like you Rambo Rich boy, then spending =
$200 on sunglass and $125 on tennis shoes won't definitely affect your =
budget. Therefore, never try to be ridiculous in critisizing other people =
who have strong argument.

Speaking solely for myself, claiming a book is too expensive to buy is
ridiculous.

$125 is not a lot to pay for what probably amounts to a collective of
35 or more years of experience. We living in an age where people spend
$200 on sunglasses and $125 on tennis shoes!=20
What did you pay to go to college?

Lee
Your book is too expensive to buy it. You need to lower the price so
that =3D
we as engineers can afford to purchase it.

I just published a new book, "Right the First Time, A Practical Handbook
=3D
on
High Speed PCB and System Design" that has seven chapters dedicated to
all
aspects of designing the power subsystem, including this topic.

It can be purchased by logging onto my web site www.speedingedge.com.

I think you will find this to be the best treatment of the subject in
print. The power section was written by John Zasio and myself based on
a
great deal of research and lab measurements.
