Bob,
You can use Synopsys CustomExplorer. Using CustomExplorer, there are 4 commands
for eye diagram applications:

sx_create_eye : construct an in-memory eye object using parameters such as UI,
START_X, STOP_X, Trigger type, etc. ...
sx_measure_eye : measure the eye object by providing measurement parameters
such as VAC, VDC, VREF, etc ....
sx_display_eye : display the eye object in the WaveView interactive graphic
windows.
sx_query_eye : query eye object measurement results such as
WH/WL/ML/MH/OH/OL/FUSS/DVDT/SKEW etc ...

batch mode operations (via TCL scripting) are supported for all of these
commands except for the "sx_display_eye" command. Hope this helps, let me know
if you need more information.
Best,
Helene

Subject: [SI-LIST] Batch eye-diagram plotting and measurement?

Hi all,
I recently ran a lot of DOE type simulations in HSPICE. I am wondering if
there is a tool out there that can plot the eye-diagrams and do some basic
measurements (eye-width, height, etc.) in a batch format. I can pull in the
waveforms one at a time into several programs and plot the eye diagram but
is there a tool in which I select a receiver node, specify the UI, Vref,
etc. and it plots each eye-diagram independently along with the
measurements?

I know there are some Matlab scripts available but that requires separate
license so it is not a viable solution right now. Any links are appreciated.

Thanks

Bob
