WRT: Socket Capacitance

The numbers you are looking for can be quite different. Even for an
"approximation".

It is imortant to know:
1) Ground signal ratio
2) Socket Type (Chip package, edge card, other?)
3) Pin Pitch (1mm, 1,27mm, 2mm, other?)
4) Socket Height
5) Terminal Type (blanked or formed.... Meaning, are the signals
primarily edge coupled or broud side coupled)

1- 3 are required to help with a general approximation... Adding 4 and
5 is better still.

_gus

HI Harjeet,

Thanks for the reply. i don't have the socket model. I just wanted to
take the approx. value for my simulation. If u have any idea about the
order of it then pls let me know.

Thanks
