WRT: Socket Capacitance The numbers you are looking for can be quite different. Even for an "approximation". It is imortant to know: 1) Ground signal ratio 2) Socket Type (Chip package, edge card, other?) 3) Pin Pitch (1mm, 1,27mm, 2mm, other?) 4) Socket Height 5) Terminal Type (blanked or formed.... Meaning, are the signals primarily edge coupled or broud side coupled) 1- 3 are required to help with a general approximation... Adding 4 and 5 is better still.
