Hi Tom,

Thanks for this valuable info. I'm a little worried about opticap's
solderibility. Do you have any experience with it? 

And another question, must I design microstrip lines to have same width
as the cap width, or I can choose other line widths as long as they are
of 50-ohm impedance?
