Benny-
Your were correct about the units problem in the TL length, but I think
your new deck messes up the circuit topology. You have L1 hanging out in
the breeze with node in1 not connected to anything. Shaohua said the VNA
was connected through the inductor. Change the P2 node to in1 as in the
original deck.

I am new in studying HSpice and get stuck in a small test program. I

Here is my problem. A section of 100 Ohm transmission line is
connected to
50 Ohm VNA through an 20 nH inductor. The TL is 1 m long and delay is 5
ns/meter, which means phase velocity 2e8 m/s. The length of the TL is
long
enough to see oscillation on S parameter, however, the plots of S11 and
S12
in dB are smooth. I don't know what is wrong. Could you please give me
some
idea?
